A 55% wood pulp / 45% polyester base material finished with the DuPont (E3) embossed pattern, which forms a regular array of raised points across the surface. Friction rises sharply and cleaning becomes more effective, while the pulp still delivers its high absorbency. At 45-110 gsm and 150-2,000 mm wide, this is the go-to material for SMT stencil wiping, component cleaning and printing-equipment cleaning.

Figures above are MESON's standard available range. Specifications can be tailored to your equipment and application at the time of order.
The DuPont pattern is a common embossed texture for spunlace nonwoven, created by an embossing roller that forms a regular array of raised points on the surface. Compared with a plain material, it makes multi-point contact during wiping, lifting firmly bonded solder paste, flux, ink and oil residue more effectively.
Friction increases: the raised points add mechanical scouring action and reduce the number of repeat passes needed. At the same time the material retains the absorbency of the pulp base.
The DuPont relief is more even and finer than an aperture pattern, capturing fine particles more consistently, which is why it is more widely used in SMT and electronics.
Compared with plain-grade material, the E3 finish keeps the surface in closer, more uniform contact with the workpiece, so residue is captured rather than smeared - an important difference on stencil apertures and fine-pitch components.
The MS-WP55-E3 family can be combined with colours and friction levels so the shop floor can be colour-managed by zone and process:
MESON holds the management-system certifications and third-party test documentation listed below. Originals or copies can be provided for supplier audits, brand registration and import compliance.
Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) covering grammage, thickness, MD/CD tensile strength, absorbency, hydrostatic head and moisture content. Production records are traceable from raw-material intake through in-process inspection to finished-goods release, and retention samples can be held for project reference.

E3 is MESON's internal finishing code for a DuPont-pattern emboss applied to the wood pulp / polyester base. Within the same composition there are also -22 (22-mesh aperture), -HF (high friction) and -AD (low lint) finishing levels.
The raised points create mechanical scouring and space to hold soil, so removal of firmly bonded solder paste, flux and ink is clearly more efficient than with plain material. The exact gain depends on surface condition and wiping technique, so we recommend testing.
The DuPont pattern is an embossed structure with no abrasive particles, so under normal wiping pressure it will not mar PCBs, coatings or optical surfaces.
Yes. The family includes lake blue (-B1-E3), blue (-B2-E3) and green (-G1-E3) options for zone management on the shop floor.
MOQ and lead time depend on model, grammage and width. Standard specifications carry a lower MOQ and shorter lead time; custom colours or finishes are scheduled against the order. Samples are not subject to MOQ. Tell us your requirement at inquiry and we will confirm, or call +86 512 5258 8862.
Mainly in rolls with a 76 mm (3 in) paper core and a diameter of no more than 1,200 mm. Inner protection is PE film with board, outer packaging a woven bag or shrink film, with palletising, stretch-wrapping and labelling on request.
Yes. Samples are supplied free of charge for evaluating grammage, hand, texture and runnability, normally dispatched within a few working days. International transit time depends on destination, and freight can be collect or agreed separately.
MESON holds FSC CoC forest certification, ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management, together with REACH, RoHS and DIN CERTCO compostability certification, flushability test reports and EN 13795 hydrostatic head data. A COA accompanies every batch.
Keep it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and avoid heavy compression, moisture and sharp objects. Unopened and stored as described, we recommend using it within 12 months.
