A general-purpose wiping material built from 55% wood pulp and 45% polyester, combining the high absorbency of pulp with the toughness of polyester. Available from 38 to 110 gsm and up to 3,200 mm wide in straight-laid or cross-laid constructions - the most widely used and highest-volume base grade in MESON's wood pulp spunlace range, covering electronics wiping, SMT stencil cleaning, automotive, printing, medical wiping and wet-wipe substrates.

Figures above are MESON's standard available range. Specifications can be tailored to your equipment and application at the time of order.
MS-WP55 and CWP55 share an identical composition - the difference lies in the lay-up.
Fibres are aligned in the machine direction, giving high MD strength, a softer hand and a lower unit cost. Suited to applications where stress is largely one-directional or wiping is done by hand - roll wipes, wet-wipe substrates and manual cleaning cloths.
Fibres are laid at crossing angles, balancing MD and CD strength for better tear resistance and dimensional stability. The material holds its shape through high-speed slitting and on automated wiping equipment, and widths reach 3,200 mm - ideal for wide slitting and lamination.
In production, wood pulp is dispersed in water and combined with a polyester web, then bonded by multiple rows of high-pressure water jets that entangle the two fibre types mechanically. No chemical binder is used at any stage, so the material is odour-free with no adhesive residue - important wherever cleanliness matters.
Built on the same composition, the MS-WP55 family offers a range of finishes and colours to match workshop organisation and operating conditions:
MESON holds the management-system certifications and third-party test documentation listed below. Originals or copies can be provided for supplier audits, brand registration and import compliance.
Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) covering grammage, thickness, MD/CD tensile strength, absorbency, hydrostatic head and moisture content. Production records are traceable from raw-material intake through in-process inspection to finished-goods release, and retention samples can be held for project reference.
| Item | Standard |

Figures above reflect standard delivery parameters. Actual specification and scheduling are confirmed with the order. For special packaging, labelling or staged deliveries, please state your requirement at inquiry.
The composition is identical - 55% wood pulp and 45% polyester - and the difference is the lay-up. MS-WP55 is straight-laid, with high MD strength and a lower cost; CWP55 is cross-laid, balancing MD and CD strength with better width stability and a maximum width of 3,200 mm.
Yes. Standard grammage is 38-110 gsm and standard width 150-3,200 mm, and grammage, width, colour and finishing can all be adjusted to the application.
We provide samples for on-machine evaluation, along with test data such as grammage, strength and absorbency. Inquiries are answered within 24 hours on business days.
Both depend on model, grammage and width. Standard specifications carry a lower MOQ and a shorter lead time, while custom colours or finishes are scheduled against the order. Samples are not subject to MOQ. Tell us your requirement at inquiry and we will give you a firm answer, or call +86 512 5258 8862.
Wood pulp spunlace has good solvent resistance and holds up well against common industrial solvents. We recommend testing with your specific solvent before committing.
Mainly in rolls with a 76 mm (3 in) paper core and a diameter of no more than 1,200 mm. Inner protection is PE film with board, outer packaging a woven bag or shrink film, with palletising, stretch-wrapping and labelling on request. Sheets, folded or interfolded formats can be discussed separately.
Yes. Samples are supplied free of charge for evaluating grammage, hand, texture and runnability. They are normally dispatched within a few working days; international transit time depends on destination, and freight can be collect or agreed separately.
MESON holds FSC CoC forest certification, ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management, together with REACH, RoHS and DIN CERTCO compostability certification, flushability test reports and EN 13795 hydrostatic head data. A COA accompanies every batch, covering grammage, thickness, strength, absorbency and hydrostatic head.
Keep it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and avoid heavy compression, moisture and sharp objects. Unopened and stored as described, we recommend using it within 12 months.
Tell us your target application, required grammage and width, and we will come back with a material recommendation, samples and pricing — normally within 24 hours on business days (Mon–Fri, 8:30–16:30 CST / UTC+8).
