A wiping material produced by applying a 22-mesh aperture finish to the MS-WP55 base formulation. The open structure creates a dense field of scouring points that lift bonded soil, dried oil films and particulate residue far more effectively than plain material, while the apertures improve liquid penetration and air flow to cut water marks and clamminess. At 40-110 gsm and 150-2,500 mm wide, it spans both consumer cleaning products and precision industrial wiping.

| Model | Composition | Technology | Grammage | Width | Colour / surface | Applications |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MS-WP55-22 | 55% wood pulp + 45% polyester | Straight-laid; texture / embossing | 40-110 gsm | 150-2,500 mm | White / 22-mesh aperture | Electronics wiping, SMT stencil cleaning, automotive wiping, industrial wiping |
Figures above are MESON's standard available range. Specifications can be tailored to your equipment and application at the time of order.
MS-WP55-22 uses the same base material as MS-WP55; the difference is the 22-mesh aperture structure on the surface. "22 mesh" means roughly 22 openings per inch, regular in shape and evenly spaced, formed by an embossing roller as the web leaves hydroentangling - no chemical treatment involved.
First, scouring power increases: the edges of each opening form a continuous raised lip that mechanically lifts dried soil, oil films and dust particles, so the same wiping pressure cleans more thoroughly and fewer passes are needed.
Because the product is straight-laid with an embossed finish, MD strength is high and the material feels crisp - well suited to hand-held wiping that needs some bite. Where a better MD/CD balance and greater width are required, choose a cross-laid MS-WP55 / CWP55 grade with the same texture.
The apertures also make the material more breathable and quicker to drain liquid, which is why it performs particularly well on hard, reflective surfaces where streaks would otherwise be visible.
MS-WP55-22 is itself a finished aperture grade, and it can be combined with the following to suit different end products:
MESON holds the management-system certifications and third-party test documentation listed below. Originals or copies can be provided for supplier audits, brand registration and import compliance.
Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) covering grammage, thickness, MD/CD tensile strength, absorbency, hydrostatic head and moisture content. Production records are traceable from raw-material intake through in-process inspection to finished-goods release, and retention samples can be held for project reference.

Figures above reflect standard delivery parameters. Actual specification and scheduling are confirmed with the order. For special packaging, labelling or staged deliveries, please state your requirement at inquiry.
It means roughly 22 openings per inch of length - a medium-density aperture structure. A higher mesh gives denser, finer openings; a lower mesh gives larger openings and more visible drainage. Choose to suit the application.
Embossing slightly lowers local grammage, but the base is a hydroentangled structure in which pulp and polyester fibres interlock, so overall strength still meets normal wiping and saturated use.
Yes. The apertures help liquid penetrate evenly and strength holds once saturated, making it suitable for cleaning and kitchen wet wipes.
Yes. Standard grammage is 40-110 gsm and standard width 150-2,500 mm; colour and embossed texture can also be adjusted. Confirm the exact range at inquiry.
MOQ and lead time depend on model, grammage and width. Standard specifications carry a lower MOQ and shorter lead time; custom colours or finishes are scheduled against the order. Samples are not subject to MOQ, or call +86 512 5258 8862.
Mainly in rolls with a 76 mm (3 in) paper core and a diameter of no more than 1,200 mm. Inner protection is PE film with board, outer packaging a woven bag or shrink film, with palletising, stretch-wrapping and labelling on request.
Yes. Samples are supplied free of charge for evaluating grammage, hand, texture and runnability, normally dispatched within a few working days. International transit time depends on destination, and freight can be collect or agreed separately.
MESON holds FSC CoC forest certification, ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management, together with REACH, RoHS and DIN CERTCO compostability certification, flushability test reports and EN 13795 hydrostatic head data. A COA accompanies every batch.
Keep it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and avoid heavy compression, moisture and sharp objects. Unopened and stored as described, we recommend using it within 12 months.
