A mesh grade designed specifically as a wet-wipe substrate. The EF mesh is formed by an embossing roller that raises a regular network across the surface, increasing thickness and loft so the material holds more lotion and feels softer and more skin-friendly. The raised network also adds a degree of surface friction, cleaning more effectively than fully plain material. At 40-110 gsm and 150-2,500 mm wide, it covers baby wipes, kitchen wipes and functional wet wipes.

| Model | Composition | Technology | Grammage | Width | Colour / surface | Applications |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MS-WP55-EF | 55% wood pulp + 45% polyester | Straight-laid; texture / embossing | 40-110 gsm | 150-2,500 mm | White / EF mesh | Baby wipes, kitchen wipes, functional wet wipes |
Figures above are MESON's standard available range. Specifications can be tailored to your equipment and application at the time of order.
MS-WP55-EF is straight-laid and receives an EF-mesh emboss after web forming. The EF mesh is characterised by even openings and regular raised areas, producing a fine, dense mesh texture overall.
First, higher lotion retention: the mesh makes the material loftier with more space between layers, so it takes up and holds more liquid and lotion pick-up is higher at the same grammage.
Second, a softer, more skin-friendly hand that suits baby and personal-care wipes. Third, the raised structure adds light friction, cleaning more thoroughly than plain material.
Embossing is a physical process that introduces no chemical additives, and the material itself uses no chemical binder, so there is no adhesive residue and no odour - matching the safety and odour expectations of personal-care wipes. The grammage range of 40-110 gsm lets you match wipe thickness and lotion loading.
The EF mesh is the core feature of MS-WP55-EF, and it can be combined with the following:
MESON holds the management-system certifications and third-party test documentation listed below. Originals or copies can be provided for supplier audits, brand registration and import compliance.
Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) covering grammage, thickness, MD/CD tensile strength, absorbency, hydrostatic head and moisture content. Production records are traceable from raw-material intake through in-process inspection to finished-goods release, and retention samples can be held for project reference.

It makes the material loftier so it holds more liquid and the wipe's lotion pick-up is higher, while the hand is softer and more skin-friendly. The raised mesh also adds light friction for cleaning.
Yes. Baby wipes need softness, good lotion capacity and no odour or irritation. This grade is hydroentangled with no chemical binder, so there is no adhesive residue or odour - a common wet-wipe substrate choice.
The three-dimensional structure formed by interlocking pulp and polyester fibres retains stable strength when wet, so it resists breaking during dispensing and wiping. Take a sample to test at your target lotion loading.
MESON supplies the substrate roll (the raw-material stage); lotioning and finished packing are done by the wipe manufacturer. If you want to test compatibility with a specific functional lotion, request a sample first.
MOQ and lead time depend on model, grammage and width. Standard specifications carry a lower MOQ and shorter lead time; custom colours or finishes are scheduled against the order. Samples are not subject to MOQ, or call +86 512 5258 8862.
Mainly in rolls with a 76 mm (3 in) paper core and a diameter of no more than 1,200 mm. Inner protection is PE film with board, outer packaging a woven bag or shrink film, with palletising, stretch-wrapping and labelling on request.
Yes. Samples are supplied free of charge for evaluating grammage, hand, texture and runnability, normally dispatched within a few working days. International transit time depends on destination, and freight can be collect or agreed separately.
MESON holds FSC CoC forest certification, ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management, together with REACH, RoHS and DIN CERTCO compostability certification, flushability test reports and EN 13795 hydrostatic head data. A COA accompanies every batch.
Keep it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and avoid heavy compression, moisture and sharp objects. Unopened and stored as described, we recommend using it within 12 months.
