Wet-laid spunlace technology with a flushable, biodegradable base of 80% wood pulp and 20% Lyocell. At 45-90 gsm and 150-3,000 mm wide, the surface carries a snail-pattern (lobed / spiral) emboss that combines wiping feel with visual identity - a mainstream material for flushable toilet wipes, disposable toilet seat covers and pet wipes.

Figures above are MESON's standard available range. Specifications can be tailored to your equipment and application at the time of order.
The key difference between wet-laid and conventional dry-laid spunlace lies in web formation: wood pulp fibres are fully dispersed in water and formed directly into a web, giving a more even fibre distribution and a higher achievable pulp content, so the material disperses more readily in water and has a flushable basis.
Flushable means the material disperses through drains and sewage systems under defined conditions without causing blockages, typically the requirement for flushable toilet-wipe products. Biodegradable means it can be broken down by micro-organisms in the environment.
The snail-pattern emboss forms a continuous lobed or spiral pattern across the surface, improving wiping friction and evenness of lotion release on the one hand, and giving the finished product a recognisable appearance on the other - widely used in flushable toilet-wipe rolls and dispensing products.
Because the base is entirely cellulosic, the material supports both claims at once rather than choosing between them - which is what a flushable product needs in order to state both on pack.
The family offers other embossed patterns and structures, selectable by finished-product positioning:
MESON holds the management-system certifications and third-party test documentation listed below. Originals or copies can be provided for supplier audits, brand registration and import compliance.
Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) covering grammage, thickness, MD/CD tensile strength, absorbency, hydrostatic head and moisture content. Production records are traceable from raw-material intake through in-process inspection to finished-goods release, and retention samples can be held for project reference.

No. Flushable means it disperses in drains and sewage systems without blocking them; biodegradable means it can be broken down by micro-organisms in the environment. MS-AWE-EM2 is based on wood pulp and Lyocell, so it belongs to a natural-origin fibre system on both counts.
Both are embossed textures; the snail pattern is a continuous lobed or spiral form and is more pronounced, while the clover pattern is finer with a smoother touch. Choose by finished-product appearance and wiping feel.
Yes. Standard grammage is 45-90 gsm and standard width 150-3,000 mm, slit to the roll diameter and web width your wet-wipe line requires.
We can supply base-material parameters such as grammage and strength to support your submission for testing; the flushability test itself must be carried out on the finished product under the standard method of your target market.
MOQ and lead time depend on model, grammage and width. Standard specifications carry a lower MOQ and shorter lead time; custom colours or finishes are scheduled against the order. Samples are not subject to MOQ, or call +86 512 5258 8862.
Mainly in rolls with a 76 mm (3 in) paper core and a diameter of no more than 1,200 mm. Inner protection is PE film with board, outer packaging a woven bag or shrink film, with palletising, stretch-wrapping and labelling on request.
Yes. Samples are supplied free of charge for evaluating grammage, hand, texture and runnability, normally dispatched within a few working days. International transit time depends on destination, and freight can be collect or agreed separately.
MESON holds FSC CoC forest certification, ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management, together with REACH, RoHS and DIN CERTCO compostability certification, flushability test reports and EN 13795 hydrostatic head data. A COA accompanies every batch.
Keep it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and avoid heavy compression, moisture and sharp objects. Unopened and stored as described, we recommend using it within 12 months.
Tell us your target application, required grammage and width, and we will come back with a material recommendation, samples and pricing — normally within 24 hours on business days (Mon–Fri, 8:30–16:30 CST / UTC+8).
