A wet-laid spunlace material developed for flushable products. With 80% wood pulp and 20% Lyocell, formed by wet-laid web making and bonded with high-pressure water jets, the fibres are physically entangled rather than chemically bonded - so under the action of water flow and mechanical force they progressively disperse, and the material is also biodegradable. Suited to flushable toilet wipes, disposable toilet seat covers and pet wipes, which must combine usable strength with dispersibility. MESON can supply flushability test data to support your product validation.

| Model | Composition | Technology | Grammage | Width | Colour / surface | Applications |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MS-WE | 80% wood pulp + 20% Lyocell | Wet-laid; flushable; biodegradable | 45-90 gsm | 150-3,000 mm | White / plain | Flushable toilet wipes, disposable toilet seat covers, pet wipes |
Figures above are MESON's standard available range. Specifications can be tailored to your equipment and application at the time of order.
MS-WE uses wet-laid spunlace, which differs from conventional dry-laid spunlace in both web formation and fibre system.
Wood pulp fibres are dispersed in water and mixed with Lyocell to form the web, which is then bonded by multiple rows of high-pressure water jets that interlock pulp and Lyocell fibres physically. No chemical binder is used at any stage, so when the material meets water shear and mechanical action, the bonds between fibres loosen progressively and disperse.
Lyocell is a biodegradable regenerated cellulose fibre that also provides wet strength, giving the material usable strength in both dry and wet states - the balance between 'holds together in use' and 'disperses on flushing'.
Widths reach 3,000 mm for wide slitting and lamination, and the 45-90 gsm range covers thin and standard flushable toilet wipes. MESON holds flushability test reports and DIN CERTCO compostability certification to support your product-level dispersibility and environmental claims.
MS-WE can be paired with the textured dispersible grades in the family, or combined as follows:
MESON holds the management-system certifications and third-party test documentation listed below. Originals or copies can be provided for supplier audits, brand registration and import compliance.
Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) covering grammage, thickness, MD/CD tensile strength, absorbency, hydrostatic head and moisture content. Production records are traceable from raw-material intake through in-process inspection to finished-goods release, and retention samples can be held for project reference.

| Roll diameter / length | Diameter ≤ 1,200 mm (47 in); length 1,000–4,500 m per roll (depending on grammage and width). |
| Width (this model) | 150-3,000 mm (5.9-118 in) |
| Inner packaging | PE film plus board / card, protecting against moisture and edge contamination in transit. |
| Outer packaging | Woven bag or shrink film; palletising, stretch-wrapping and labelling available on request. |
| Container loading | Approx. 9–10 t per 40HQ (depending on grammage and roll diameter). |
| MOQ | Set by model, grammage and width. Smaller runs are possible on standard specifications and samples are not subject to MOQ — please confirm at inquiry. |
| Sampling | Samples are normally dispatched within a few working days (freight collect or to be agreed). |
| Lead time | Standard specifications ship quickly; custom grammage, width or finishing is scheduled against the order. Confirmed lead time is agreed when the order is placed. |
| Payment & trade terms | Conventional terms such as T/T; EXW / FOB / CIF can be confirmed at inquiry. |

Figures above reflect standard delivery parameters. Actual specification and scheduling are confirmed with the order. For special packaging, labelling or staged deliveries, please state your requirement at inquiry.
Flushable means that under water shear and mechanical action the physical bonds between fibres loosen progressively and disperse into individual fibres, so the material passes through the drain rather than blocking it. MS-WE is wet-laid spunlace with no chemical binder, which is what gives it this property.
No. Flushable describes whether the material disperses in water; biodegradable describes whether it can be broken down by micro-organisms. MS-WE has both: wood pulp and Lyocell disperse under water flow, and the material itself is biodegradable.
MESON holds flushability test reports and DIN CERTCO compostability certification, which can support your environmental claims and product compliance validation.
Yes - this is MS-WE's principal application. Toilet wipes must meet both wet strength and dispersibility requirements, and this grade's fibre blend and process were designed for exactly that. We recommend a sample test with your lotion and finished-product simulation.
MOQ and lead time depend on model, grammage and width. Standard specifications carry a lower MOQ and shorter lead time; custom colours or finishes are scheduled against the order. Samples are not subject to MOQ, or call +86 512 5258 8862.
Mainly in rolls with a 76 mm (3 in) paper core and a diameter of no more than 1,200 mm. Inner protection is PE film with board, outer packaging a woven bag or shrink film, with palletising, stretch-wrapping and labelling on request.
Yes. Samples are supplied free of charge for evaluating grammage, hand, texture and runnability, normally dispatched within a few working days. International transit time depends on destination, and freight can be collect or agreed separately.
MESON holds FSC CoC forest certification, ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management, together with REACH, RoHS and DIN CERTCO compostability certification, flushability test reports and EN 13795 hydrostatic head data. A COA accompanies every batch.
Keep it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and avoid heavy compression, moisture and sharp objects. Unopened and stored as described, we recommend using it within 12 months.
Tell us your target application, required grammage and width, and we will come back with a material recommendation, samples and pricing — normally within 24 hours on business days (Mon–Fri, 8:30–16:30 CST / UTC+8).
