A biodegradable system in which bamboo fibre replaces polyester. Bamboo fibre is a regenerated cellulose fibre made from bamboo, and is biodegradable; the fibre is fine and soft with natural skin-friendly character, giving personal-care products a clear material story. Hydroentangled with wood pulp, the material combines absorbency with a soft hand - suited to mask-sheet substrates, wet wipes and eco packaging. Available from 45-100 gsm and 150-3,000 mm wide.

| Model | Composition | Technology | Grammage | Width | Colour / surface | Applications |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| MS-WB55 / CWB55 | 45% wood pulp + 55% bamboo fibre | Cross-laid; straight-laid; biodegradable | 45-100 gsm | 150-3,000 mm | White / plain | Wet wipes, mask sheets, eco packaging |
Figures above are MESON's standard available range. Specifications can be tailored to your equipment and application at the time of order.
MS-WB55 and CWB55 share the same composition and differ in lay-up; both belong to the biodegradable fibre system.
Bamboo fibre is a regenerated cellulose fibre that can be broken down by micro-organisms under the right conditions. Together with wood pulp it forms a biodegradable material system - and gives the product a natural-material identity that is easy to communicate.
The straight-laid version (MS-WB55) gives high MD strength at a lower cost; the cross-laid version (CWB55) balances MD and CD strength, suiting wide slitting and dispensing products. No chemical binder is used, so there is no adhesive residue or odour, and widths reach 3,000 mm for volume conversion.
For products where the material itself is part of the marketing - mask sheets, premium wipes, eco-positioned disposables - bamboo fibre lets the substrate carry that message rather than simply being neutral.
MS-WB55 / CWB55 is one of the biodegradable fibre systems, and the family also offers other fibre blends:
MESON holds the management-system certifications and third-party test documentation listed below. Originals or copies can be provided for supplier audits, brand registration and import compliance.
Every batch ships with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) covering grammage, thickness, MD/CD tensile strength, absorbency, hydrostatic head and moisture content. Production records are traceable from raw-material intake through in-process inspection to finished-goods release, and retention samples can be held for project reference.

Bamboo fibre is a regenerated cellulose fibre made from bamboo; it is biodegradable and has a soft, fine hand with good moisture absorption and breathability. In nonwovens it brings both a natural skin-friendly touch and a clear material story.
Yes. Mask substrates need softness, skin-friendliness, lotion retention and comfort, all of which the bamboo fibre system supports. We recommend a sample test for lotion pick-up and skin-contact simulation.
Bamboo fibre and wood pulp are both cellulosic, so the material has biodegradable character. The exact conditions and timeframe must be verified against the standard and test method your product is assessed under.
Yes. Standard grammage is 45-100 gsm and standard width 150-3,000 mm, and lay-up and fibre blend can be discussed.
MOQ and lead time depend on model, grammage and width. Standard specifications carry a lower MOQ and shorter lead time; custom colours or finishes are scheduled against the order. Samples are not subject to MOQ, or call +86 512 5258 8862.
Mainly in rolls with a 76 mm (3 in) paper core and a diameter of no more than 1,200 mm. Inner protection is PE film with board, outer packaging a woven bag or shrink film, with palletising, stretch-wrapping and labelling on request.
Yes. Samples are supplied free of charge for evaluating grammage, hand, texture and runnability, normally dispatched within a few working days. International transit time depends on destination, and freight can be collect or agreed separately.
MESON holds FSC CoC forest certification, ISO 9001 quality management and ISO 14001 environmental management, together with REACH, RoHS and DIN CERTCO compostability certification, flushability test reports and EN 13795 hydrostatic head data. A COA accompanies every batch.
Keep it in its original packaging in a cool, dry place away from direct light, and avoid heavy compression, moisture and sharp objects. Unopened and stored as described, we recommend using it within 12 months.
Tell us your target application, required grammage and width, and we will come back with a material recommendation, samples and pricing — normally within 24 hours on business days (Mon–Fri, 8:30–16:30 CST / UTC+8).
