MANUFACTURING & LAB

From fiber preparation to finished roll goods

01

Fiber and pulp preparation

Select pulp, viscose or other fibers for the application, then open, weigh and blend them.

02

Dispersion and wetlaid web formation

Pulp disperses in water and forms an even web on the forming screen before carding and web formation.

03

Pre-wetting and transfer

Pre-wetting and light compaction remove air and move the loose web into the hydroentanglement zone with less disturbance.

04

High-pressure hydroentanglement

Multiple rows of high-pressure water jets pass through and rebound from the web, rearranging and mechanically entangling the pulp and fibers.

05

Dewatering and drying

Remove excess water and stabilize width, handfeel and moisture through the drying system.

06

Winding and finishing

Continuous roll goods can be slit and finished with embossing, water repellency, antimicrobial or other treatments.

07

Testing and release

Review basis weight, thickness, absorbency, strength and hydrostatic pressure, then create traceable quality records.
