ExxonMobil Chemical has introduced a new low viscosity Vistamaxx ™ high performance polymer for hygiene and assembly hot melt adhesive applications.


Vistamaxx ™ high-performance polymers enable companies to develop innovative solutions that improve product performance and productivity. It also has the potential for sustainable development by thinning the packaging film, reducing the amount of material used, reducing the thickness of hard packaging, and increasing product strength to avoid damage or waste. At the same time, it also achieves lower processing temperatures, thus reducing energy consumption.


Vistamaxx ™ polymers provide soft imitation in non-woven applications and provide a true soft touch experience in polypropylene applications. ExxonMobil ™ SFT315 Polypropylene resin provides cotton-like softness, excellent drapability, and good adhesion for spin-on processing. Excellent performance in increasing the flexibility of non-woven fabrics.

Vistamaxx Polymers provide excellent adhesion properties, bond strength and composite integrity for efficient barrier properties in food packaging films. Use Vistamaxx polymers to help keep food fresh and colored. They also provide excellent adhesion properties for strong extrusion coating and compounding applications such as polypropylene woven bags. The low viscosity Vistamaxx polymers make hot melt formulations ideal for high performance, low odor, lighter colors and low density in packaging, hygiene and assembly applications.

Vistamaxx polymers provide excellent adhesion to high performance surface protection films found in consumer electronics, LCDs and displays. Vistamaxx polymers also provide excellent adhesion in hand-drawn, machine-drawn, and stretch-wound films packaged in machine pre-stretched pallets.

ExxonMobil ™ PP3155 polypropylene resin is especially suitable for high quality fabrics that require good spinnability and are stable at high speeds.



Metallocene Achieve ™ 3854 resin is designed for high tenacity spunbond and low-denier fibers. It enables fine fibers to maintain excellent uniformity in high-speed textile processes. Its stabilizer combination is suitable for the vast majority of non-woven fabrics and monofilaments.

For nonwovens, many factors influence the choice of fibers, the fabric forming and the web fixing process, including process efficiency, product performance, application requirements, consumer needs, and cost of use. Acrygen 27 is a self-crosslinking acrylic adhesive that provides firm operability and moldability to nonwovens and textiles.


GenFlo 3003 is a carboxylated styrene-butadiene copolymer binder for high-performance nonwovens applications in applications such as the deflector and floor mats for disposable hygiene products.
